Temptalia’s Foundation Matrix was initially a general public effort that then was spearheaded by Christine of temptalia.com. Christine is a freakishly avid beauty blogger who also happens to be in law school. How she churns out as many posts as she does per day, I will NEVER know/understand…but I love her site for really thorough reviews and think she’s really great for putting together a foundation matrix that is narrowed down by depth of skin colour (Very Light to Light, Light to Medium, Medium to Medium-Dark, Dark to Deep Dark) and skin tone (cool or warm). As a person who buys makeup online a fair amount, I use this foundation matrix PLENTY in order to figure out what my shade would be in one brand generally based on whatever this matrix says I am for whatever foundations I already own. Functional, straightforward, crazy helpful. :)
